Aww sorry to blow your mind, lol and yeah the invisi-blocking really is needed. On NR all Avi's have a solid invisible bubble around them so people cant dance on your Avi, its just not possible but to have that bubble we would also need invisi-block or else a group of people could prevent us from gaining access to certain area's, like VIP entrance for instance, but if you Invisi-block one of them you just walk on through the gap. This is now lightyears off topic, lol but its your thread so I guess thats ok:)

Yeah I don't play NR. I dunno, ever since I got on it that one time and saw that your character is butt ugly unless you pay, it just never clicked with me so I only play Atom lmao. Most of the Rail Brothers converted to Nebula though cause they're unloyal to the rail. And yeah I mean I dunno, we should probably stop, but like I said I don't know what to do about it because it seems improper to go start a thread somewhere to carry on a conversation from another thread. ._. Hopefully it's okay, I mean no mods or anything have yelled at us including Mandy, so I'm assuming we're fine? Still feel bad though. xD

Nice pics Aya and Anime :D I am sure Atom are working on the invisible block thing - it's been raised many times already and it seems very important to players.  I must admit, I have not had too much trouble with trolls or being harrassed myself, but that's probably because I don't stay in the same place too long.  If it's spoiling people's enjoyment of the game, then it definitely needs to be high priority.  I think that all of these virtual world games need to have the bare minimum of features (Atom already has a lot of these) - adding friends (both in-game and from PSN list), being able to locate your friends and join them, private spaces which you can have as just you/just your friends/open house, wardrobe function to enable to try on clothing items before buying and before adding, ability to speak via mic in private spaces.  But the invisible block is also essential I feel.  And even though I am female, I can see how this would be annoying for a guy as well - you should have the freedom to dress as you please and not be harrassed.  On a side note, I was sad when they fixed the Aurora glitches too but hopefully one day we will have some kind of ability to fly around the Aurora islands anyway, like the Essence of the Seven Winds we had on PS Home :D

I never heard of the Essence of the seven winds , what was it?  Anime, NR dont charge for any face and body customisation its all free, only thing you pay for is shop items. Unless I misunderstood you. To get back to the topic I got a new problem with my sneakers now (I know *groans* yes really :( )  Now when I put them on in wardrobe even I cant see them in out in AU, but I can see them on other people. I got other Sub problems too but I will make another thread about that, its an urgent problem too. I know I keep going on about anti-trolling features on NR but it could be constructive to Atom U too.  There's quite a few VR's out there and many have similar features "borrowing" idea stuff from eachother, if it works why not use it?

Basically it was a tool on Playstation Home that enabled the user to fly instead of just walking or running.  People would exploit glitches in the game in order to escape the usual 'walls' or 'boundaries' of the space and fly far above it.  On the original Aurora spaces on PS Home, people would fly around between the islands : )

Oh I meant like you literally have no clothes or hair options if you don't pay. Like NONE, just the default hair and clothes. Not the physical customization. :o

That sounds fun! I remember seeing someone fly around the GZ beach appartment with some fairy outfit in PSHome, and I mean right up in the air, not just 3 feet off the ground like all the wing LMO's used to give us lol(Angels wings ect) they seemed to have full flight control. Looked fun but when I tried to buy it, it wasnt for sale. The only thing I had that seemed to come close to  proper flight was a RC helecopter which was quite cool in a big open space, but could only be used in a private apartment ( I think it was a furniture item and not a LMO). But it was First person veiw so it came close

I see what you mean now, yeah the game would just put the user into a public space like that too, nothing we could do but make a quick dash for the private apartment jump spot before someone mocks us for looking like a noob, lol

I think the Granzella Beach flying might have been a game they had there - at least in the public version of that space.  The Essence tool was made by Juggernaut Games and it was a furniture item so I think it could only be used in a private space.  I wonder why it wasn't for sale - that is strange!  There was another tool as well but you kind of floated around more than actual flying - it wasn't quite as good.  There's loads of videos on YouTube of it being used (including my own videos) but here is one that shows it nicely https://youtu.be/X9ibGtQAFGs

Thanks Jigsaw - I always get thrown when Daylight Savings comes in though.  On PS Home I was on EU so I always knew the time of day for the people in UK in particular, but I seem to be socialising more with US and CAN people now.  I think I should have 3 clocks set up so I always know the right time!

Your very welcome! Daylight savings times just means when it starts to get dark out / night time at either 6 pm or 8 pm, that's it. Oh and certain area's in CAN are 1 Hour 30min or 2 Hours behind U.S. time zones depends on where they are in Canada :) Yea having 3 or 4 clocks should work lolz :)

Now I'm blown away :) What an amazing video, I always thought the Harbor app scene was a 2D drawn background with some moving traffic and stuff, I had no idea it was all 3D. Seeing that player fly around it was so cool. I wish I had that seven winds thing, lol Thats one of the things I really liked about playstation Home it was so big and there was so much to it, just when I thought I'd seen it all some one shows me there was still yet more to see, and its still happening now nearly two and a half years later, What a game, I really miss it

Yes, same here!  I only started using it in 2013, so I missed all the amazing stuff from 2008-2013 but I saw a lot in my two years on there.  I agree, I'm still seeing things now I had no idea existed.  My biggest regret was not experiencing PS Home Japan.  I made over 600 videos of Home and took over 6500 photos but I am still seeing videos and pictures of places I had never even heard of, let alone visited!  I am just grateful I got to experience it at all, although that means I miss it too of course - a lot.  I am sure we won't see it's equal in terms of scale again, but AU already has quite a few spaces and Aurora too so things are looking up : )

Abiatha I think you saw PS Home at its very best then ( I started in 2008 but quit after first time cos of trolling, disgusting behaviour and there didnt seem like a lot to do, but the trolls ruined it in Homesquare and I didnt look very hard, I came back some years later and there was so much to do and so many places to go it seemed so much better. 2013 and 2014 had all the best stuff out in shops, interactive dances and gestures, all the best dances , LMO's like the Dance-o-Tron and Acorn Meadow Park(celebrating its 1st Birthday in 2014 I think with the closure notice just around the corner)and lots of other stuff . PS Home just seemed to get better as time went on which makes me think that the closure had nothing to do with player usage (plenty of players on that I saw) or money (I saw lots of people in new stuff every week, clothes. LMO's dances and the devs were bring more and more stuff out too, they wouldnt do that unless it was selling) and more to do with the pretty bad stuff that was happening on there, trolling and disgusting behaviour. Thats just my opinion though and I havnt heard a valid reason from PSN (maybe there is one but I didnt hear about it) except that corporate spiel about changing landscapes (did they become gardeners?lol) and I dont think any of us bought that line did we?

That's funny about the gardeners, lol.  There was a lot of discussion about why it closed and it's possible the hacking and trolling probably did form some part of Sony's decision but not the main one.  From what I have come to understand, Home did make money, quite good money, for a time, however they never recouped the money they spent on the development of Home in the first place, and I think fewer and fewer people were using it.  I was on EU Home and most of the spaces were virtually empty most of the time.  It used ageing technology which was probably expensive to maintain.  Although PS Home was ahead of its time in a lot of ways, it wasn't cutting edge technology after a few years and Sony were focussed on their new PS4 platform.  If you look at Home, although it's still beautiful, it does look quite dated compared to the new PS4 games and Atom Universe.  PS Home was originally supposed to be a Hub for gamers but it ended up being a kind of virtual social and shopping world which is not what they intended.  I think people think it was the hacking and behaviour that closed PS Home because that's what they saw or experienced.  They are not looking at the bigger picture - the business that Sony are in - I am sure it was purely a business decision based on where Sony were headed.  You get hacking and trolling on all games, not just virtual worlds, and they don't close down games because of it.  Sony would not have wanted to maintain Home on PS3 and from what I have heard, it was not possible to migrate it across to the PS4.  Remember Home never made it out of beta!  They just weren't interested in creating a new version of Home for the PS4.  As they said, the landscape had changed : )

I had not seen this video either, wow it is so incredibly cool, loved it! That song goes well with it.Thanks for showing it Abiatha;) I hope AU can create something similar in the future.. they already have the winged sneakers for flying to go with it lol.

I think AU can do it similarly as the one you showed by adding a transporter to make us appear on a terrace or say 10' above(and above any building you're in) highest area where you are standing, then allow you to fly around.. say the Hub, but you can't land unless you use the transporter again, and you cannot fly low to interfere with others game-play. But would also be nice if you can fly low in assigned areas outside the park for exploring the grounds like high risers in the horizon we see now in the Hub.

In that video I liked the fact that would allow you to bring-in your furniture to lodge up above.. so cool.

Yes, even if it was just possible in our personal spaces, rather than the public areas, that would be fine for me.  One of the things I like about Second Life is that you can fly around and get an eagle eye view and that is built into the functionality, not a glitch and doesn't require a special tool or anything - it's gives you a sense of freedom.  On Tower Unite there is the jetpack which, although it isn't quite as nice as just flying or floating around, enables you to get to some very high places, such as the top of the main Tower in the Plaza.  It just makes getting around a lot easier and more fun.  I would be happy with something simple on Atom Universe, just to enable us to fly around Aurora or see some of the beautiful spaces from different angles.
