Hey guys. I sort of asked this a while back when Atom Universe was first starting up, and I seemed to get a lot of replies from people who really wanted Xi to make a return. I only recently found out about Aurora coming back, and so now I'm just visualizing how amazing a new Xi on Atom Universe could be. For those that might now know, Xi was originally on Playstation Home and was pretty much the very first console-based alternate reality game; meaning that it sort of reached into the real world; allowing players to work together to solve mysteries and reach the end. Just some food for thought, but I'd really like to know what you guys would think. Maybe if enough people speak up and ask for Xi, it'll be considered as yet another upcoming addition. Or at the very least, maybe we could just get a recreation of Xi Museum as another place for people to just hang out.
I'll get right to the point and say that Atom Universe looks absolutely amazing. The sheer fact that it survived it's kickstarter and is already providing content is nothing short of inspirational. I truly believe that this is the social platformer to pick up from where Home left off. That being said, my friends and I have come to wonder if spaces from Home will be making a return anywhere in Atom Universe in the future. To be specific, it has come to my attention that nDreams is one of the companies you'll be working with, and nDreams released a wide array of content in Home. Xi is my best example of this. It managed to unite Home and give a sense of mystery and unison. It was so successful it earned itself a museum, a sequel, and was certainly the basis for which "The Pointing Ninja of Xi" investigation grew. It is of my recommendation that if possible, Atom Universe should include some of these familiar scenes in order for older players from Home to feel more welcomed into this new world you have created, rather than feeling out-of-place so to speak. Your addition of PSTalent has already been an impressive first step in doing so, but we were certainly hoping to see it expand beyond that. In conclusion, I do realize that you are indeed your own platform now and wish to do your own things, but I would like to think that you recall some of the content Home gave us and attempt to recreate it in order to bring that spark back to life. Xi would be a great place to start and even continue (seeing as it left us with such a cliff-hanger at the end of Continuum). Best of luck to you. ~BLUESKY
