Yes! Lake View Retreat is here and I'm very glad to see it too. On 1st April 2015 I spent my final minutes of PlayStation Home in my LogCabin. After PShome went offline I honestly wondered if we would have another Playstation VR. I know, it was negative of me but after Neotopia had failed for whatever reason and the brutal way Sony took PSH from us I was a little pessimistic. I'm very glad to say I was wrong I was hoping Atom Universe would succeed but never did I imagine I would be back in that same LogCabin now with a substantial rebuild but still very much feeling like the original and renamed Lake View Retreat. This is a great remake but quite a step on from the old LogCabin. Now we have extra rooms with interactive fittings including a shower, changeable furniture and a fireplace that can be turned on and off. We also have birds flying over head and a plane passing by every now and then too. It feels very much like the countryside. I was wearing headphones at the time so I turned the TV volume right up loud to hear all the background sounds like the wind, the chirping of the birds, the insects, the lake noises, the plane flying over and really jumped when I heard that Wolf howl It gave me a proper start, lol, I really wasnt expecting it. The mountains in the distance seem to have grown too (how much time has passed by?lol) and I'm happy to see that the pink light reflecting off the clouds against the early morning sky is still there, at least thats how it looks to me. I can almost feel the crisp new day air in that space. Thank You Sub D and Atom Universe for bringing this space back to us, my favorite space from PSHome
Hey guys. I sort of asked this a while back when Atom Universe was first starting up, and I seemed to get a lot of replies from people who really wanted Xi to make a return. I only recently found out about Aurora coming back, and so now I'm just visualizing how amazing a new Xi on Atom Universe could be. For those that might now know, Xi was originally on Playstation Home and was pretty much the very first console-based alternate reality game; meaning that it sort of reached into the real world; allowing players to work together to solve mysteries and reach the end. Just some food for thought, but I'd really like to know what you guys would think. Maybe if enough people speak up and ask for Xi, it'll be considered as yet another upcoming addition. Or at the very least, maybe we could just get a recreation of Xi Museum as another place for people to just hang out.
